Last night I bought my first textbook for the upcoming Fall semester and got a stellar deal. I am running a little behind, as classes start on August 20th Yikes! Anyways I was getting ready to rent my books when I cruised over to Craigslist and found a couple good deals. The book I bought was in perfect condition & I met them at a local starbucks since it was at night.
If I would have been looking on Craigslist all summer since I registered for classes in the beginning of July I probably could have bought all my books on Craigslist. Instead, I will be renting the rest of the books I need for this semester unless I go buy one tonight - I made an offer and am waiting to here back.
Do you rent, buy new, buy used or skip Textbooks all together?
